Peer Education

Youth Highland have secured funding from Children In Need to run an exciting project in partnership with Brook Highland and the Youth Action Team.

14 young people from member clubs all over the Highlands will be supported by specialist workers to find out about relationships and sexual health and substance misuse, and create their own training packages around these issues to take out to other young people and youth clubs.

We hope that the project will enable the group to learn more about risk taking and share information in an accessible and interesting way with other young people. Youth Highland want to enable young people to make informed decisions and keep themselves safe. Through this project we want to make a difference to young peoples choices and hopefully have a preventative impact on some of the more damaging decisions young people sometimes make about risks.

If you know a young person who might benefit from being involved in this project, or if you would like the group to visit your youth club with their training package please get in touch with us and let us know at info.youthhighland.org.uk or 01349 865186
